The Scout Troop started in May 1971. Today there is 43 Scouts in the Troop divided into 4 Patrols called Badgers, Beavers, Eagles and Swifts. The Troop caters for boys and girls between the ages of 10 ½ and 15 ½.
 


The Scouts meet every Friday Night (except Good Friday, the two weeks after Annual Camp and one Friday at Christmas) from 7.30pm to 9pm. Scouts have day activities or overnight activities at least once a month. The highlight of the Scout Year is the Annual Camp, normally held during the first two weeks of July.

The Leader Team

Francis Minogue (Group Leader) is the Section Leader, supported by Caroline Marks, Mark Lown (Group Quartermaster),  James Marks, Deemie Fitzgerald, Louise Hennessey, Mick Nolan, Aine Fahy, Conor Abbot and Marcella Nolan
