Welcome to Beaver Scouts. Beaver Scouts is the youngest section of Scouting Ireland and is for boys and girls aged 6, 7 and 8.

The first Beaver Section was started in Roscrea in April 2005. Today there is 26 Beaver Scouts in the Thursday Night Beaver Colony divided into 4 Lodges (Teams). The 4 Lodges are named after a colour Red, Yellow, Blue and Green.

It is hoped to open two more Beaver Colonies later in 2011.
